Alfian Emir Adytia is an Indonesian sound-reciter based in the Netherlands carrying the fusion sounds of cello, folk, classical, rock, and electronics. After graduating his master's degree in classical music from The Royal Conservatoire of The Hague, Emir expanded his sonic voyage that led him to release 11 digital albums and EP's.

Deeply rooted in his Javanese/Minangkabau cultural heritage, a fusion that adds a unique dimension to his influences from Western past- and present musical evolution, Emir has been performing on major stages worldwide such as Cello Biënnale Amsterdam, Ngayogjazz, Grachtenfestival, Zhang Jia Jie International Country Music Week, Amsterdam Minimal Music Festival, Gaudeamus Muziekweek, and Museumnacht among others. In 2021, Emir was the artist-in-residence at the prestigious International Cello Festival Zutphen reciting multifaceted cello performances and composing his contemporary cello etude commissioned by the festival.

In 2022, he was honoured with a special mention prize in the Calefax Composers Competition, an honorary mention in the Bartók World Competition for Composition and being featured in the Spitfire Audio LABS Community Playlist. His music has been widely played from a humble community-based young cellists circle in Yogyakarta, to a film screening at FIVARS festival in Los Angeles and Montreal.
